I like the looks of the wallpaper however I am not sure that a CT conversion (or even a TT) is the place for wallpaper. I would think that the continuous temperature cycles between high summer and the cold/freezing/dampness in the winter would cause the paper to peel prematurely?

After I put the walls back up, I filled all the holes and then primed the raw wood. Then applied diamond plate wall paper made by Martha Stewart and available in Canada at Canadian Tire for $22 a roll. Because I used diaomd plate PVC flooring 16 inches up the wall, I only needed one roll. This wall paper is thick and paintable as I did to seal the seams.
My Album has many pics of this...I have not done the trim yet.

I like the look of that wallpaper. Is it vinyl or paper based surface?

Paper and takes paint well in any color. It also hides a lot and can span small holes with no problem. However you have to treat your walls as you would the inside of your house...
