Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

I'm getting ready to install my shower, but I've never done one before. The back will be against the trailer wall, and I will have to build 2 walls. 1 on each side of the shower, 1 of which will contain the plumbing. If anyone has done a 1 piece shower install, any suggestions and especially pics of your process will be greatly appreciated.

Make it so you can get at the pipes in the wall in the future. Would not want you to have to distroy the shower to fix a leak.

Instead of hard PVC lines wouldn't this be a great use for PEX?

Yep, use pex and make an access panel where the shower valve is in case you ever have a problem (freezing or a leak).

Thanks for the tips. Anyone have any pics or info on the walls? Specifically, how to finish the edges of the shower stall where it's fastened to the walls. I'm planning to use some decorative tileboard I picked up at the blue store the other day. Should give a nice bathroom look, I just need to figure out how to finish the edges. Also wondering if there are any special considerations for placing the 1 piece shower on the wood floor. I think it calls for mortar if installing on concrete. Does it need additional bracing underneath?

XTS, having installed two of these type units in houses, the edges are usually covered with a waterproof moulding or rocked’ up to the edge and caulked... The floor must be supported , but instead of mortar and concrete , spray foam in a can may serve for this on a trailer , and be lighter ... if you’re putting this over a wood floor (as in a trailer) I think you’d want to waterproof the whole area as much as possible first ... sooner or later it’s going to get wet ... somehow ...
