A/C how big?

I have a 6x12 that has 1 inch foam insulation is a 5000 btu a/c big enough or do I need to go bigger?

A how high, You are looking at cubic feet, Ours is about 400 cubic feet and a 5000btu is fine with a good bit of loss in the hoses we use to connect.
B where are you/do you plan to go

My trailer is 7 x12 with an additional 6" in height. I went with a 6500 unit as it was on sale and had a remote. I slide it out a cargo door when in use.

Last summer it worked well. The days were comfortable so I had my rear barn doors open and had a great breeze. I turned the a/c on for sleeping. Everybody had a great night sleep.

I figured the cubic feet at 468 and live in sw Va. and would like to be able to camp anywhere in the south east
