Taking a big chance and say its ovewr!!

Postby southpennrailroad » Tue Mar 13, 2012 3:43 pm

Winter is over!!! But winter is not over until next Wednesday. I have my last propane tank on line on my furnace but think that will do. But!!! I will get the others refilled just in case. It was a great winter. Amazing and not what I was expecting and no complaints from me here.

In other news, I am into my third day as a Wendy's worker. Don't like it much but will stay with it. I don't like working in doors. :? But it will get me through till grass cutting season comes of age. I work Thursday night, Friday night Saturday night and Sunday night. 7:00 pm - 2:30 am. I am just five minutes away from my trailer and off to sleep till say 9:00 am then some extra cash jobs usually under the table and then off to work again after some nap time. Not to shabby!

I started at McDonalds, and hope I never have to go back.

But I understand you have to do what you have to do. But you could be in luck. With such a mild winter, you might be cutting grass sooner than normal.

Just keep your shingle out there...

Yep Mike. I am glad to have a job that's for sure. When they questioned me whether I had any experience in fast food, I said no. They needed workers so I guess they are taking the chance. I think I will stay with it. Get next years money in order. I have to admit I like being off from 2:am Monday morning until 7:00 pm Thursday night. I calculate that if I want to go camping I could really leave as soon as I get off in the am on Monday and not return until Thursday in the early pm. Get a little sleep and be ready for work that night.
