So I changed the bed to a twin where it is now aganist the wall on the side of the trailer and last night after getting back into the trailer to go to bed I forgot that the bed is no longer long wise across the back of the trailer. Well you can imagine when I went to sit on the edge of the bed to get ready for sleep. I went back a few steps to just fall on my rear. This happened twice only earlier I went to put my lap top on the bed where there is no bed now. The lap top is not damaged thank God.

Russ, so glad you weren't hurt!!! Well, except your pride.....
Lowe's has a motion-sensor battery operated LED light. I can't remember how much, but it was inexpensive. You might want to consider one of those for your safety.
Be careful. The bad thing about living alone is there's no one to help you, so we have to make life easier on ourselves.

I busted my ars at work the other day and they didn't even have the decency to score me at least a 5.0!! I got a 4.2 from them. See if I ever give them that quality of entertainment again.
I have found that I still fall as good as I use to, I just don't land as well and my recovery takes quite a while longer. This too shall pass. Glad you survived!!

Sorry fellows for your pains.
But thanks for the laughs, I sure needed them.
Not going to say what I did, but I will be installing a step light on the camper real soon.
Cheers

oh, and speaking of funny, and backing up:
We saw at Wally's a thing to help you back up and hitch your trailer. It was 2 tennis balls on 2 sticks you mount one on your trailer tongue and the other on your car or truck hitch so when backing you see the balls sticking up and you align them when backing. It says "when your balls touch, your hitched"
So Russ, mount one on your bed, and when you bend over and back up to lie down, when your....................

Your right I havn't been on in quit some time I had trouble locating the reply button.
Well I work at night at Wendy's 8-1:30 am. Tue Wed Fri Sat & Sun. Got a new truck Ford 2011 Ranger. Well actually used 6,000 miles with warranty. It was a great last winter and this year is going to be bad. Actually no money saved up. Have to live pay check to paycheck. Work was skimpy this year. Put a little insulation in the ceiling this year but will do more and it is helping just the little I put in. Honda generator was stolen and I think I know who but won't do anything about it. Let that lying dog bich (misspelled for a reason) go. Using a cheep Chinese one which I have gone through at least 4 since Memorial day. Bought the extended warranty so they just take it back. Will buy a new Honda next year.
Still doing my railroad hobby and thats getting a good following on Facebook. (South Penn Railroad in the Facebook search block)

Russ,
Good to see you on again. I was away from the forum most of the summer myself.
I did quite a bit of reconfiguring the counter area in my CT the last part of the summer. Biggest change I made was doing away with the water compartment and turning the furnace parallel to the wall. I made a 90 degree exhaust elbow as well as a 90 degree intake duct so it would fit. I ended up mounting it in the bottom of a 12" cabinet with the power center mounted above. I had to cut a new hole in the side of the CT since the furnace was mounted lower than before. I used the aluminum I cut out for the windows for patches that I rivited in. Doesn't lok too bad.
Spent 12 days camping in it over labor day. 6 days up in the mountains near Mt Rainier and the remainder was doing the Hwy 101 loop of the Olympic peninsula. Everything worked as planned and other than carrying too much extra stuff, (all the kids camping euipment) which made extra space a premium, it was a great trip.
Good to hear you got a little more insulation installed, and I see you are up to 5 days (nights) a week. Before long you will be running the place!
