Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

Just curious is anyone has added a roof rack for storage (?) to the roof of their cargo trailer conversion ??
Thinking one of the luggage containers could be used for storing lawn chairs, pop up canopies, etc. on the roof ? I know that we have lots of room in the trailers for storage.. But there may be times when you get to your destination in the middle of the night, or staying in a Wal-Mart parking lot, etc. and don't want to have to unload the stuff from the trailer, just to go to sleep..
Also thinking it may be a good place for the spare tire/wheel ??

Why not, you should use all available space you can. I made up a custom rack for my rooftop tent.







You could put a cargo carrier up there as well.

Great idea on roof rack because it would cut down on taking up room inside. THe only concern I could see is that if your trailer is tall it might be a wind block for when your towing and your gas might decrease from that. I notice when I pull mine I wish my truck was taller or trailer height not so high because it is like a DAM it blocks the wind and the V nose helps but still a wind tunnel.
