First post here so ... Greetings all...

To the OP,

You have done exactly what I want to do with my trailer. I just bought a 7x14 Haulmark V-Nose. I will be hauling two mid size bikes (HD Dyna and HD sportster). With the modifications you have completed can you get two bikes inside? Do you have pictures with the bikes inside? How much does the trailer weigh after you did all of the work? I will be towing mine with a half ton as well. Thanks and sorry about all the questions.

Next up was the 120 volt wiring. This consisted of adding four 20 amp circuits in the kitchen area for A/C unit, microwave, Fridge and whatever else I decided to put there. Also three recessed 15 amp outlets on side walls for TV and anything else plus an outside GFI outlet to power awning lights, fans, etc.

Next and probably the most difficult would be the ceiling. I went with 1/4 in plywood and covered the ceiling with a gray fleece fabric taht would be used in several places. This was glued using 3M 77 spray adhesive which now 4 years later is still holding great. I felt the fabric and carpet that I used would help some with insulate both for heat and cold plus the noise of the all night parties at the rallys.

By using fabrics and carpets for many of the finishes it also saved a lot of time doing tedious finish carpentry and allowed for some errors that could be easlily masked. The bottom pic here is the ceiling nearly finished less the trim going accross the seems also covered with the same fabric.

Now it was time for windows. This trailer had been through a tornado and hailstorm about 6 months before I purchased it. The worst dents were right where the windows were going so this solved the problem of any major dents 8) . I cut the holes using a Sabre saw with a metal cutting blade and then a wood cutting blade on the interior plywood. Again this is one of those "please don't let me screw up deals" :?

Window on the other side. Again there was a large dent here also. The trim ring that I ordered with these windows was about an 1/8in to deep, so I simply added some shims inside the wall to make for a tight fit. There is the butyl putty under the outside trim also for a weather proof seal.

I do have pictures that will be up soon with bikes in it. I am able to haul a Goldwing or Harley Ultra on the long side and any other bike that is 8.5 ft or less in lenght on the side against the bathroom wall. Weight I do not know as I have never weighed it. The tongue weight is very high on this trailer however as there is almost no overhang behind the axles. I am able to haul it without a weight distribution hitch though so far (many miles) without problem. The finished trailer empty is probably around 3500 lbs but that is a guess.

Next up was a 15W solar panel with charge controller just to keep the batteries topped off mainly during storage.

Carpet was then added to the side walls where needed. Again I used 3M 77 spray adhesive. Works great for this. The carpet came in 6 ft width which is the same as the wall height therefore little to no trimming was required here.

Got a little out of order but here is the floor tile install. These tiles work well if you put down the adhesive promoter they sell along with the tiles. These tiles were very heavy and thick and added considerably more expense and weight than I expected, but I like the look.

These tile boards are strategically placed to serve as part of the bathroom walls and also as the backsplash for the kitchen counter.

Because I was not happy with the height of my porta potty and was having trouble coming up with a location for my water pump, I came up with this idea of building a base to house both the pump and the water fill hose pictured above comes in here and goes though the floor here.
