Commode in shower pan??

Looking at a lot of different builds, has anyone used a LARGE shower pan to include an RV toilet in it???

My plan - I have bought a 7x18 cargo V-nose and plan to use it for providing mobile occupational health services, including physicals and on-site urine drug screens. Based off previous clinic experience, many workers have "poor aim", so I am hesitant in not making the floor (and walls) impervious. The shower would only be used for myself when traveling to different sites........any thoughts or suggestions??

Do you plan to have a gray and black tank under the trailer?
You should consider your plumbing plans, before you lock yourself into what kind of pan you're planning to use.
I actually installed black and grey tanks under the trailer, and plumbed the toilet into black, and the shower & sink into the grey..
There are several options for you; once you decide which way you want to go.

Coop,

Yep, the shower drain will dump into the gray water tank and the commode (I'll have to place and drill hole through pan) will dump into black water tank. This would allow me to put FRP (I think) on all the walls and ceiling and can just hose down at the end of the day or as needed.

I have 4" between the floor and the bottom of the side rails, so I figure I can go 5 or 6" for my tank (placed in front of dual axles to keep from scraping/tearing).

Keep the comments coming..... :D

cool.. If you'll look at my build, I did much the same thing.
I used a shower pan from www.jazzsales.com then FRP'd the walls.
While I didn't install my toilet in the shower pan, it's definitely do-able..
One thing you must consider, is that a p-trap must go under the shower. You can lay it out correctly, and have your p-trap "beside" the holding tank, then just run into a flat 90 into the top of the tank.
Again, it's all do-able.. Just have to lay it out correctly so it'll function how you want it to. So you want to put a shower pan in, then drain the shower pan into the grey tank, while going straight "through" the shower pan with the toilet, into the black tank ?

The layout in cabover campers are like that. The toilet is in a corner or to one side. The tanks are offset from each other. Toilet is over one end of the black and the shower drains the other direction into the grey. It is a real space saving design when you want both.

That is a good website it has alot of things that are hard to find like the 24 x 50 Angled Slant Wall Pan with Holding Tank - I have never seen one of those forsale?
If I were going to build another trailer I would want one of those, the jack-knife sofa 's are nice also expensive but nice.
I saw the have the frames also all good stuff.

I'm not a paid spokesman or anything. But I bought lots of stuff from them. Their ABS fittings are comparable in price to the box stores. And you can shop from your easy chair.

I'll get some pics of my plumbing tomorrow and post them. I actually ran my sink and shower into a wye, then back a couple of feet to hit the grey tank. Just make sure you have around 1/4" per foot of slope and grey water will drain for miles.

As you can see, the shower dumps into a P trap, line runs across and Wyes into kitchen sink drain. That line drops into grey tank (furthest back), then dumps into dump valve with black water.
