Any 4x8 conversions?

We are looking at converting a 4x8. Our needs are pretty simple - 2 adults & 2 little dogs. The trailer we are looking at has barn doors on the back. I am thinking we could build a kitchen similar to a tear, add windowed door(s) to the sides and fit the interior with bed and storage. Has anyone worked with such a small trailer? Most of the builds I have seen have been larger.

Zipline65, Howdy;

Welcome to the forum.
You could use the search function and look for something,
or you can look at most of the teardrops. lots of those are,
from what I understand, are built on 4'X8' frames...

I looked at doing a 4x8, but ultimately ended up with a 5x8.
It is not much heavier and much larger on the inside for sleeping.

Try laying out a 4' area using cardboard boxes or some sort of hard sides, then lay next to your partner, move around a bit etc. then try a 5' width. you may change your mind 4' is very confining,

From what I have read most everyone that built a 4' wide teardrop, if they had the chance to do it again would go 5' wide.

With my 5' I was able to use an Ikea futon, so I get: sofa, bed, and storage underneath.
