fold up picnic table

Kind of a fun folding picnic table. The same design style could work for a folding table and benches or a bed.

I would be curious as to the details of the sliding or slot mechanism for the benches, but particularly the table, that allows it to rise and fall when opening and closing respectively.

Looks like he is selling the plans.

From the pictures you can see the pin slots in the sides of the rails. That is pretty easy and straight forward. You would just have to figure out your own latching system to lock things in place. The table end could be locked by a simple swing out on the back horizontal support. Legs could be locked with a latch or pin.

Think I will do this for my dinette in my CT conversion.
