screen door options for CT?

Im trying to figure out, where to find a screen door for my enclosed trailer. My trailer has a 36 inch door on it, and I can't find one anywhere! Does anyone have any ideas? I thought about calling the factory, but with my budget, I doubt I could afford that. I did just find on Home Depot website, a retractable screen door, for home use (see link below). I need to measure mine tonight to see if this would even be an option. Any ideas would be appreciated! Thanks all!

Mike

The price seems a little steep. I thought about using the one you see on TV with the magnets. I don't know the name of it, but you can get them at the As Seen On TV stores.

Maybe try a roller shade with the shade replaced with screen. Sliding down a slot.
Just a thought.

When I purchase my CT, if I do not get one with the RV door option with a screen door, I will look at the retractable screen doors like the Phantom one in this video:

Pricey yes, but there are lower costs versions to search out.

The problem with many of the commercial retractable screens is the height. You would have to do some extensive custom cutting to get it to a cargo trailer door height.

For myself I like something simpler. If and when I set up a screen for my door, I plan on using a cafe curtain rod that can be mounted very close to the wall just above the door molding. The rod will be offset to the left so that the screen can hang there in a tie or velcro strap for storage . To use it just pull it across and use either velcro or magnets to hold the right side and bottom close to the frame or molding.

Thanks Cindy.
Never gave the height a thought.

Thanks for the responses and input everyone! Kstephenson, your idea is EXACTLY what I dreamt up today! Only thing I added to my thought design, is building a small wall which the screen would slide into, like a pocket door. I only thought that just incase load shifted going down the road

This just popped up in my email inbox today. Concept is interesting, but available lengths are probably too long. Unless you could mount it further up the wall from the top or If there was way to shorten it yourself.

On sale now.

That's the same concept as the ones at the As Seen On TV stores. I will try to get by there sometime this weekend and see if I can find a price, but I think it was cheaper than the smarthome site.
