I know you are going to :applause: have fun. Did you get it insulated? Good luck with build.

Congratulation!
I know how you feel. I just ordered mine about 3 weeks ago. Cannot wait.

I didn't insulate. I will either buy a spray kit or use the blue closed cell. Possibly a combination of both.

Any tips on the floor? I was thinking 2" blue with spray foam adhesive like Mountain Don. No water tanks to worry about. Maybe cover it with a sacrificial luan.

Somewhere is a post by a fellow CT'r who put plywood sleepers (I would guess 3/4 x 6") down on the floor and then added blue foam between the sleepers. It looked tight. I also believe he mentioned the thickness of the top plywood layer he was adding. But I cannot find it. I will continue to search for it as I want to refresh my understanding on what he used as I will use the same process.

Check out the first link that RWH posts - Toy Hauler Conversion

On the photobucket link, you can see his floor insulation.
At the bottom of the first page of the post, he references using 1/2" plywood over the insulation.

The factory tells me that my CT will be ready on 9/29. If that date holds true, I will go get it on 10/3. I will order the windows now and then do my wiring planning so I can buy the wire needed. Can't wait! :ok:

I've been ordering parts as well. I found a spray foam kit that looks promising but it might be too late in the year for a proper spray job. It can't be too cold and I don't have an indoor shop anymore.

Curb weight is 1500#. Maybe 2500#. My tow vehicle is a full-size truck so weight isn't an issue now.

I am not sure what the weight of mine will be. The manufacturer does not post them. I am guessing at around 1800 lbs for my 6x14 with added 6" height.

I would love to use Spray Foam Insulation but I do not think my budget allows me to use this over Blue Foam sheets.
