Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

On my 7x14 ramp, I noticed the ramp is very heavy taking down and putting up. I tried to You Tube how to add more tension to make it "easier" to handle, but eveything is on garage door springs! I don't want to mess it up or get injured doing it the wrong way, anyone have knowledge or videos on this please help.

Mine was the same way as a garage door. If you know a garage door guy they can fix it, or a trailer guy can do it.
You can if your handy with tools but be careful, if it gets loose it will hurt you bad.

I had the cable come off my trailer and I went to a garage door company and they fixed it on the spot for about 50.00 money well spent, would do it again if it happened again.
They actually tuned it better than when it came from the factory, now when it's 3/4 of the closed it goes up on it own, before I had to help it go up.

It just looks so easy in the "garage" videos on You Tube, just need two bars and some more knowledge.

It just might end up with a local Garage guy doing it!

The funny thing was I went at the end of the day on a Friday and I had everyone including the owner in the trailer and checking out my trailer and asking questions.
They all were saying I would have never known this was a homemade toy hauler, they originally quoted me 150.00 but the owner said since I didn't need cables it was just labor.
I didn't realize how important the spring assit was when one came off I just went with one and I realized how heavy the rear door was then the other one came off and I couldn't lift the rear door, I had to go and have it fixed, if I knew it would only have cost 50.00 I would have went earlier.
well worth having a company that does it for profession fix it right.
