After many months of research, goal setting, and compromise, our 16x7x7 aluminum trailer is finally here.

We worked with Justin at http://www.northpoint-auto.com/. Great guy, great outfit. Ultimately, we ended up buying way more trailer then initially planned.

However, an all aluminum trailer should last a lifetime and is a delight to tow.

Based on what we learned about ATC trailers, we opted for factor insulation and wiring and LED lighting and the factory install is topnotch. Also, we upgraded doors, windows, fantastic fan and others. Buy the time I would option all and install them myself, we weren't much further behind financially to end up with an integrated, factory-installed approach.

Lots more to come as the project progresses.

I had the great privilege of lurking here on this forum for many months which significantly shaped my decision. We wanted a true multi-use unit, low fuss (no full-on RV build here) but with some practical amenities.

More to come as we spec it out. And thanks to all those who have gone before - what a great resource!

Nice trailer but you might want to box battery in and add a vent to outside for it

I don't know for sure what kind of battery you have, but if it needs venting, here is an example of a vented battery box:

Thanks for the heads up. There is warning notice riveted right next to the battery that advised it is sealed and safe for indoor use and that any replacement must follow the same protocol.
