Hooked up well!

Last September (2003) my boss allowed me to finally hook up to his electric in the building. I have one battery for the furnace and have an electric blanket to sleep under even when the temps are in the single digits. I use an of/on switch to run the furnace and keep the furnace off during the day and only use it on occasional cold times. I have the battery on a charger at all times as it is a trickle/charger. Everyone wants me to get an apartment but I say even if I was rich I would get a bigger trailer but still live in a trailer anyway. Free parking and free electric. Everything is just fine. :)

Radio. I presently use a docking station but only use the FM radio. A hassle but I just purchased a marine Am/Fm radio that came with speakers so I will be installing that near the top of the trailer ceiling. The battery or hot wire is close by so that will be a good location across from where I sleep. Also has a remote control.

I installed two casement vynal double pane windows in my trailer last spring and went through the summer without any Ac but only used a fan on the front counter and this winter so far I have had no issues with moisture on them as well. The larger casement was able to be placed within the wall spars and the smaller one I put it in sideways to make into an awning window on the back door at the foot of my bed. It opens so easily that I can open it with my toes. The windows are not really screwed in and are actually just double baked glazing bed taped in place. Have driven down the road with them installed in place like that with white silicone calking as well. This year I also sealed up some under the trailer air leaks and that helped in the trailer staying warm from a few drafts. Have not insulatd the front of the trailer as I had planned to do this year but will wait until net year.
