cargo trailer weights

Kind of been looking online at cargo trailers for the soap box derby car, would like to be able to haul 2 cars (one on top of another). The problem I found is that no websites show the weight of the trailer. I am thinking a 5x8 or 5X10, 4 foot tall interior. Any thoughts on what the trailer itself would weigh? Figuring about 500-600lbs of cargo.
Thanks
Aaron

I found those hard to find weights many times by googling (making a verb out of a noun) the brand you are interested and many times th e dealsers will post the weights.

If it helps, my 6x14 single axle, 6' 6" interior weights about 1750 lbs. maybe you can extrapolate an estimate from that.

Some of the websites will show you a list of 'spec's. The empty weight being, obviously, the bare bones trailer.
Gross is maxed out 'Loaded for bear"...

My 6x12 is about 1200 lbs.

Here is the Mirage site. If you open the specs tab you can choose a trailer size and see the weights etc. I know that this is only one manufacturer but it should give you a ball park figure.

Thanks guys. I was looking at dealer sights and not finding weights. My car has a recommendation for brakes on trailers over 1,000 lbs, so would like to stay under 1,000lbs. Been thinking of making my own enclosed trailer on a light utility trailer.
Thanks
Aaron

There is the issue, if you go to a manufacturers website (like Haulmark) they have everything listed you would need (total size outside, inside, weight capability, ect).
