Greetings, Been a long time lurker and finally signed up to get my project started. I have been looking at 7X14 vnose trailers. I've read some threads on people ordering custom trailers from different outfits including trailershowroom.

I've read stories of people waiting 8 -10 weeks and people getting their trailer in 7 days. I was looking at getting an RV Door, Electrical Package, Windows, 6'6" interior height, electric brake control. These seem like fairly staright forward options to customize. I need to plan time off to do the conversion build. So if it gets ready for pickup within 4 weeks that would be great, but if it stretches to 8-10 weeks then It will be hard for me to plan or get time off.

Just wanted to get some response on experience with wait times. I know the sales guy will say 2-4 weeks, but they can't promise, or he may say 4 weeks no problem.

I ordered a trailer because I didn't want the standard ones they had on the lot. I upgraded to 3/8" plywood walls, two sliding windows, one crank-open roof vent. side door, v-nose... but no electrical package other than the standard two dome lights. 6 x 14 size, barn doors, single axle. The dealer said it would take eight weeks. It was eight weeks to the day! The only problem I had was a switched wire to one of the tail lights. I've pulled it through a whale of a rainstorm in Oregon for half a day, and not a drop of water inside! It tows like a dream. I'm a happy customer.

I hope it goes so well for you.
Dave

Ordered my 14 foot from Proline in NH. 3-4 weeks wait time as I had added custom stuff. awning, steel plating, a few other things. Family business, Aluminum. Nicely made. No dealers factory direct.

Mine came from across the country, through a local dealer, with a few "customs" like windows, vents, lights, etc. As I recall, it was a couple of months, give or take. Haulmark.

I ordered my 14x7 H&H V nose trailer custom built. 6-6 interior height, RV door w/screen door and window, 2 sliding windows, a roof vent w/reinforced roof framing for air conditioning, recessed channels in the floor, custom paint and a 30 amp service (which I didn't use). Took 4 weeks to be delivered.
