Pop top or bubble roof on CT?

I'm looking for the cheapest way to get a toy hauler that is super light (Subaru Forester) that I can convert to travel in. AND that I can stand up in. Anybody every added a pop top, bubble top or other modification to a CT? Most of the available, lighter weight CTs are less than 6 foot high (my height). Might pull easier if the profile were only a bubble top or something.

I have been thinking of this too. Would certainly think someone has done it.
Here's a super cool commercial off road version:

Trolley top makes sense to me...I'm 6'2" and I don';t like to have to lean over all of the time.
My concern with raising the roof is that the ribs act as rafters which add to the structural strength of the unit. Not just spanning the roof. Holding the walls together too.
I know it can be done. Asking the manufacturer might help too.
Inspiration!

If you are looking for the lightest and cheapest toy hauler that can be pulled with a small vehicle google "yuppie wagon trailer" - I am not computer smart enough to add a like. They make a small enclosed trailer being pulled by a Smart car. It is all plastic and you can even buy just the enclosure and put it on a Harbor Freight trailer if that option makes a difference. I have been reading ttnt for a couple of years now (do not post very often) but your question seemed to deserve this particular answer. I have mentioned this manufacture a couple of times on this forum and the response seemed lack luster. Several folks on here have indicated they seem to lack the time, tools, facilities, skills, etc but they still want to enjoy this type of recreation but are held back due to the reasons stated. I already have a 6 x 12 V-nose and 1/2 ton pickup so I don't have as use for this particular brand of trailer. However, if I was in the market for a small lite weight enclosed trailer, this one would be the first one I would look at.
For the record. I have absolutely no connection what so ever with this manufacturer, and only referring them is because it would seem to be another option that may solve the question.

Yeah, I thought about that as well, especially with a CT, those ribs are very structural. Trolley top, hadn't heard that term before, but that is exactly what I was thinking about. I've seen a few DIYs with truck toppers used as roofs, but none are 6' tall. Some sort of pop top would work too, like a Cricket trailer. Looked at those but their rear hatch is only 41 x 41", too small for even my small Yamaha TW200, which Is what I would like to haul. Or the type of pop up used with VW Westfalia's. Too bad there is not a company that supplies tops as an after market deal. I have seen companies that make the large bubble tops for full sized vans but that is too big. DIY is probably the only way to go.
