Have not seen a side or entry door located here before. If having a door like this, would it open much up? Have been planning to look for V Nose and have shelving/storage in the V, and having battery on the frame/tongue area? Having a hard time really thinking about how this could benefit/change a simple 6x12 set up.

I don't see how it can, I think it wastes space. But maybe have it as only an access door to mechanical or? not as an entry door.

I would think it might actually save space. On a typical cargo trailer, you lose all of the space that is around the side entry door and the v is usually not all that useful (when hauling, etc). So by putting the door there they have freed up the space in the square portion of the trailer that is better for hauling stuff.

Had not seen that thread, after seeing that build its near bout exactly what i had in kind, but that build is way better than anything i could accomplish.

Had some reservation of how stuff could lay out. But seeing that thread, i have no doubt it works better for space

Lots of trailers like that here in Syracuse. They drive their snow machines in the back door and out the front door.

Yeah i can see the benefit to the door in that location. Im excited to start this process, but as of now itll be a bit before it begins. Going to start talkng to dealers and getting prices and start buying things i will need. I know ill need some electrical help, but i got a few fellas i can lean on for help/telling me what to do.

HEY Donut757! Just saw your post and the company East Coast Trailers is in Raleigh,NC Are you from the area? I know the guy that owns ECT but I believe you can get a better price if you buy direct from manufacturer, that is what I did with my camping 4 x 6 CT I use to haul my tent and camping gear. I am looking to build an 8.5 wide x 18 ft. long CT for camping only and move away from the tent. Give me a shout back I'm near Holly Springs and maybe I can help you some way.
