Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

I purchased a LOOK trailer about 4 months ago, planning to make the trailer into a bit of a toy hauler. No shower or toilet in the plans, but a comfy place to sleep on hunting trips. Being in Arizona, AC will be a must. I started with 1" board insulation and paint. Added a thin wood ceiling, and rv style lights prewired into the ceiling and walls.

I have been working on this for a couple months now.... I built a murphey style folding queen sized bed. It is wide enough to fit a 6" thick mattress available on amazon. I also scored some free cabinets and shelves. Painted the countertop to match the floor. Up next rv power converter install plus a 30 amp power inlet. Still up in the air between a WFCO converter or a PD but i will have to pull the trigger soon. AC and windows after that...once funds become available haha.

Looks good so far. Your basically doing what I'm working on now. Mine will have a sink with hot & cold water, outdoor shower, 12V led lighting,120V receptacles, AC and a bed. Plenty of room to haul the 4wheeler during hunting season or riding at ATV parks and plenty of room to haul the motorcycle when I don't feel up to riding to my destination. I'm looking forward to the AC and bed the most .

Looking good. I plan on doing a full size bed like yours, but made from old metal bed frames to save weight. I went with the 45 amp WFCO converter because it's what I saw in friends RVs and price was right.

That looks like a good sized trailer, so you might want to live in it a while but I gotta tell ya, the shower and toilet are really nice to have. Having your own fresh water supply and power supply make you feel a sense of independence that is very liberating. You might want to ask the ol' lady about the toilet....just sayin'. They take that stuff a lot more serious than us.

Oh ya, 55amp WFCO. Does everything, perfect. About $150.00 I think.

PS. Get that roof painted with Henry 587 reflective roof paint ASAP!!! It makes a HUGE difference, I spent 36 yrs in the high deserts of New Mexico, trust me, it's cheap and easy. You'll be glad you did.

I am in the process of replacing my WFCO that failed with a PD converter. I am not an electrical engineer, electronic tech or electrician, but the PD looks and feels more substantial than the WFCO. I would give the nod to PD.
