Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

Hello All,
I have a 7x16 Haulmark V-nose tandem trailer. I am seriously considering installing a mini split ac system but have some questions about mounting the outside unit.

I don't have much space on the tongue of the trailer and have a fear of crushing the unit. I need much practice on backing up!!

I would like y'alls opinion on mounting the unit.

1. What about on the trailers fenders?
Too much bouncing?
Too much weight for the fenders? I figure some reinforcing would be needed.

2. What about a rack mounted on the tongue to raise it up above my pickup level?

Any other ideas?
