Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

It dawned on me that with the addition of a simple door in the side I could really open up my design to be more ideal and shift the weight further back where I wanted it. Has anybody done this and if so do you have any tips? The factory location seems to already have a double stud on the hinge side as I'm sure the door was an option.

I am pretty sure that Prem installed the side door in his Featherlite but I can not quickly find it here?
