Where you link direct to the photo. They only want you to post a clickable link. Although, it's OK if you pay $300 a year.

I started the process last night and it shouldn't be too bad. First I downloaded all my pics from photobucket. They all came into my computer as a zip file. This way all the pics are sized and edited just as I have them on here. Then uploaded them to Imgur and started replacing them. It is helpful to place the new link above the old one and do a preview before deleating the photobucket link. One nice thing is Imgur allows you to copy the link with the img brackets in place. Saves a little time.

Well, this crap about photobucket truly creates a massive vacuum
Not being all that great at figuring out computer "stuff" I reckon it'll probably
some time next summer when I can get it all sorted out. Well, one way to beat
the heat, stay inside and try not to throw the laptop through a wall.

I deleted all of my photos and then deleted my account. $400 a year is a ridiculous amount of money for a simple hosting service. Too bad all of my posts on this and several other forums are broken, but so be it.
Using AdBlocker, it would block approximately 30-50 ads per page on photobucket. I still got pop ups every time. The service was snail pace as well for the last several years.
Good riddance. I'll use Imgur or something else. I just have to fix the threads I want to stay relevant.

May prove helpful for others.
