Is it ok to use one bought at the "club warehouse" or should I buy an RV specific one which I assume is rubber/shock mounted somehow. The tv is an electric version not a 12 volt model. CaptD

CaptD, I used a mount that you would use in the house. Just be sure to use good lag screws into something substantial like a wall stud and use a mount where the TV is at the light end of the wieght the mount can handle. I also strap the TV to the wall for travel so it cannot extend out and bounce around where the leverage is increased.

I have not had any issues bouncing for miles down dirt roads in Ocala NF.

BtW, getting a KTM-690R by Dec. this year to outfit. Starting the TAT in June next year with my brother. Going from NC to OR and will ship bike back after riding it up to Seattle and visting nephew. When are you going?

I also will have it with me for the RTR in Quartsite,Az in Jan 2019 if all goes as intended. I plan on hitting the road then and staying out for a few months until close to TAT time. Starting the planning now and finishing up the CTC " odds and ends".

I used a standard wall mount for mine. The caveat is to make sure the TV can't just bounce out of the bracket. Mine did the first trip, so I wedged a piece of pool noodle above/behind the TV to set it in the mount.

Screwed mine solid to the wall. Definitely not for everyone but worked for me.
