Update on the Rich solar system. It’s working great. Keeping everything charged up and no issues. Not sure that the blue tooth module is really needed. Since it’s in the trailer the only time I can access it on the app is when I’m in he trailer or really close to the trailer. It does make it a bit easier to adjust the functions. The other way to adjust things is you have to y.use the arrows on the controller which isn’t as convenient as using the app.

Added a ARB room to the awning. Works great. Gave us a nice place to hide from the bugs!

Well been camping and doing a few things. Added a diesel heater. Plumbed the fuel tank outside to fill. Refined storage and have been working on the bed system. Have some led lights I’m going to add along the passenger side for night time use. Bought a 12v 15 gallon atv sprayer to use for water. Got a parts cart to use as a bbq cart. Just roll it in and out.

Looks great except it looks like your canopy is set to drain any H2O
right into your grill. But, it's an easy fix. chuckle.

Actually the photo is a bit of an illusion. The bbq is under the cover and the awning is set to drain off the corner which is well away from the bbq.

Plus there wasn’t any rain. There was enough dew though to wet the awning.

Well prepping for the next addition to the trailer. I will be adding brakes. I may even swap out the axle and go with the Timbren system. See how deep my pockets are at the end of the year.

Decided to go with the Redarc Pro Elite brake controller. I know a couple guys that have been running them and they really like them. No more knee knocking on the brake control box. For my new truck it’s plug n play so should only take a little bit of time to install. Just need it to warm up a bit!

Moved the ARB awning to the drivers side of the trailer. Added a OVS 270° awning to the passenger side.

We went for a cold weather camp to test it out. Worked great. Glad I had the diesel heater it s 14°f one night, brrrrrr!

Added brakes to the trailer. Went with the Dexter never adjust. Had to get new hubs too as the trailer only had the five lug without drum. Fortunately the axle already had the brake mounting plate. I had my 15 year old son run new wiring from the distribution box to the brakes. Took us about two hours to get everything hooked up. Once that was done we had to go for a spin so that the RedArc brake controller could learn its job. And also so that the Dexter brakes could adjust themselves. With all of that completed I re-torqued the lug nuts and now we are good to go. All new bearings, hubs, brakes ready for camping! Packed the new bearings with Lucas Red and Tacky.

RedArc control nob. Way better than the old knee banger boxes!
