Who would come to a CTC Rendezvous out west somewhere on BLM land if it were to exist? They do RTR's and etc. For Van dwellers and etc..


Just a thought that crossed my mind.

RTRs? I'm not savvy to that jargin. Ridin the Rails? Riding the Rockies? I dunno? In theory I'd be there. But its all about location, location, location. Oh, and timing. But yeah, I like it. (Not Kaliphornia, right?)

RTR is short for Rubber Tramp Rendezvous which is January near Quartzsite,Az. Started out as a few vandwellers meeting up and now is a huge event with more than just vandwellers.

I am thinking in the southwest somewhere on BLM land with a small town nearby to provision as needed. Late winter would be good as everyone would be ready for a break from the cold.

Heh heh, "Vandwellers".... They used to call us Gypsy's when we were livin down by the river. Still got the Van. And the "Keep On Truckin' " T-shirt. Seem to have misplaced my hair somewhere.

Well there we go... I think it could happen!

That sounds like a blast! If I could make the date work with my job, we'd love to come. Getting out of northern Minnesota for a few days in late winter would be a dream come true. I always have a few extra personal days saved up, so why not?

Maybe start planning for 2021. Gives everybody time to put it on the calendar for a late January timeframe? I think it would be alot of fun.
