woohoo! i just put a deposit down on a new 6x12 vnose cargo trailer.

some of the mods i ordered are:

-18" tongue extension
-charcoal gray exterior colour
-rv latch on the side door
-electric brakes
-double barn door
-manual roof vent


Some of the mods i'll be doing:

-stab jacks
-insulation
-power vent
-windows
-cupboards
-a very large bed
-shower
-sink
-propane demand water heater
-cassette toilet
-wired for 110v and 12v
-solar panel
-cell signal booster
-awning
-5,000 btu window shaker
-replace interior plywood with lighter, thinner luan
-relocate tongue jack to clear jeep spare and swing gate
-add cargo box to extended tongue


they claim 3 weeks delivery, last time they said that it took almost 9 weeks, whose counting?
pics to come but they will look pretty much like some of the builds here, lol!

the one thing I know now I didn't before is how nice a powered tongue jack is I struggled for years I probably have to much weight in the front any way ?
but for 130.00 from harbor freight never again will I struggle with the that part of the set up. mine also has a light that comes in handy on it's own.
my other advice is to really think ahead when installing thing in case your plan changes and you have to remove something or change the layout it's not a problem.
I just knew as much as I planned it would get it the first time but I wound up moving things around and I ran into some problems later.

i'll be building it similar to my 5x8 tintent build, kind of letting it evolve as we use it. i have a general idea of the layout and plan on keeping it as light weight as possible, my 2 door jk wrangler is only rated for 2,000lbs. i'll wait and see how much work it is to crank up the jack but being chronically lazy i like the idea of the power jack.

this is the basic layout i'm looking at, the settee will have storage underneath and the kayak will slide in under the drop down section of of the bed (if the bed is down or not). sorry, i have no idea how to make the pic smaller

Wash in HOT water then dry on High heat, always worked when I was bought clothes
the I didn't care for. It would then fit one of the 3 younger then me.

thanks for the advice, i don't know if it worked or not yet, my ipad doesn't want to start now......maybe i should have used fabric softener?

Oh boy!! Maybe Santa will put something awesome under the tree, like a camper sink, an awning, etc.

Years ago we were restoring a 1975 Ford Bronco. When hubby opened his Christmas gift from my dad, he let out this loud "Ooooh!". All heads quickly turned to see what awesome thing Kirk had just received. It was a pair of stock 1975 Ford "302" emblems. My sister-in-law was so disappointed when she saw what it was.

Dad is gone now, but the Bronco still proudly bears the emblems -- one of the best Christmas gifts ever!
