Window unit in a 7x16 haulmark passport
Posted: Sun Jun 21, 2020 8:04 amI had a stand up 2 hose portable ac/Heather unit, that took a dump so I figured I would go ahead and upgrade... bought a Frigidaire 350sqft 8k btu window unit, i would like to install it in the middle of the vnose so I can feel the air when I'm in bed. I've come up with 2 options
Hard mount - I would need a removable lockable cover that fits over the unit... big and bulky
Mount on drawer glides - would need an air tight box made on the inside ( so all the pesky bugs that like to get in the unit) so bugs don't get inside. Then have a flush cover on the outside...
Thoughts and ideas?!
