It appears my 2020 F250 has the 7 pin trailer connector wired well from the factory for the 20A DC to DC charger. It is connected with a 30A fuse in the fuse panel under the hood. That is good news. Just need to run a single 10Ga wire from my trailer tongue to the rear appliance closet. Will be easy. I will connect it before I head back out on the road going East.

I will need to upgrade the ground wire on the trailer side connector; however. They have a poor ground with a single 12ga wire from the pigtail to trailer chassis. It is just a quick connector to the heavier gage wire in the pigtail. Typical poor Cargo Trailer wiring from the factory.

While I am at it, I may take out the break away brakes battery and connect the circuit to the house batteries. Those little batteries never last long anyhow.

Have a feeling that there are more then a few that would appreciate it.

Check this 7-way cord out that I just found on Amazon. A simple way to wire in trailer circuits from the tow vehicle.

Here's another one that costs more :

Been living and traveling fulltime in the CTC since July 27. Thinking I got the routine figured out now. Packing up tomorrow and leaving Nebraska and heading towards Massachusetts. Really liking the way this 6x12 works for me. Lex.is enjoying it also. Had to leave her inside while I went shopping today. Caught her sleeping on the couch when I returned. Big no no for dog on the couch. Lol.

Not to split hairs but what's your solar harvest been like? It looks like you're going to get a lot of shading from the antennas on the rear PV panel. And on the topic of antennas, how did the cell booster work? Our dog is spoiled, she always gets to sleep on the couch. I'm not surprised you''re happy with the trailer, it came out super cool.

I have been plugged in for the last few weeks, so no real good data on solar harvest. It was decent when I did have sun and needed a charge (about 23A). I do need to do some benchmarking when I get a chance. Sure, any shadows cast will impact. Real estate on the roof is limited. Could move them up front if the impact too much. I did leave cable length for that option.

Cell Booster and WiFi Booster are working great. Doing what I expect. Standard equipment for me in this connected world we live in.

Lexus is spoiled. Great travel companion in any case.. even though occasionally a PIA. She does look out for me.. first reaction to strangers is to challenge unless my body language is approving then she will lick them to death.

I've got the Weboost in my Amazon watch list, I'll pull the trigger eventually. Can't seem to get past the cost very easily.

I have a WeBoost Drive Reach booster... it helps in remote areas.

I had a Wilson sleek that worked well until 4G came along. Now I've got my eye on the Weboost OTR package.

Hi Richard. I was just through there about 10 days ago. I am in western Massachusetts now and hopefully will have things wrapped up here by this time next week. I may head north to Green Mt. NF in Vermont after that and camp for a few days and ride the KTM on the forest roads. Probably will head to the Catskills in NY after that as I head south.

Hope all is well with you.
