The color changing LED strips are very cool. I've used them in both my ice fishing cargo trailer conversion and my teardrop build. They really add a nice custom touch. Your build turned out great!

Loaded for a 4 day trip to the woods. Taking the woods bike this time! The KTM-450EXC was feeling neglected! Had to perform some maintenance.. but ready to ride!

This one takes up the least room on board. Plenty of space to move around... but that doesn't matter in this case since it is just a 3 hour drive and then it comes out.

Back home and now for the least pleasant part: Unpacking, cleaning all the gear, and putting it away.

I discovered a drawback to not having a ramp door on my CTC. I forgot to put the ramp in my truck and got to camp before I realized that. Not too bad getting it out, but much harder loading it. Thankfully, a friend was with me to help lift it up.

This little black bear was checking us out for a bit before he jumped back in the woods.

Little 6x12 next to the 7x18. This is where it'll stay now that the build is completed.

Taking the 7x18 to South Carolina in two weeks with the Mrs.

Hi Hank. I may add another pad at some point, but not real soon. I'd rather not have 2 campers to maintain. May sell the larger one if not used much.

Lex is never too far away... Always getting in the pics. :)

A pic from trip last week. Really captures the setting. Little camper is so much easier to get back in more remote places.

The axle flip with SumoSprings towed well with no additional sway or etc.

Further, the SumoSprings muted most all of the bouncing around on bumps and etc.. very pleased with the results given the increased clearances. .

I also installed the LEDs under the awning before the last trip. These are color selectable also.

Your newly honed welding skills put to work and make a C channel to house a ramp in the center of that now lifted trailer, a few pins and a ramp would never be left at home again.

Awesome build and sad ya hadn’t made it out west yet!

Safe travels

We think alike. I built this bracket already and just need to weld up and paint the second one tomorrow. I plan to just bolt them to cross members underneath and then take a long shackle bicycle type lock and lock the ramp to the bracket towards the rear.

I am using a Harbor Frieght trifold ramp and just took out one section. This will hang down 4 inches, but I gained 6 inches with the lift. It won't be lower than the axle itself or the gray water tank.

Life events keep getting in the way of my trip out West in the CTC. Have only gotten as far West as Nebraska and Sturgis, SD in the last 2 years. Maybe 2022 will be the year. Unless something happens, I will be riding the Transamerica Trail from Hatteras, North Carolina to Oregon coastline starting in late June. The route should take me through Moab. Will be motocamping off my KTM-690R coast to coast predominantly offroad.
