flboy, Howdy;

Your rout will be taking you across the Great Basin? High Desert country.
Might think about one of those Hydration backpacks that hold several
liters of water. Altitude and dry air will suck the liquids right out of ya.
Waterholes are far and few between out there. Moab is well, dry except
for the Green River that flows N to S. Her's a few pix of some that forgot
to hydrate;

Got the second C bracket welded. When the paint dries, I'll install them under the CTC.

I also put on longer stabilizers today. I had them already and with the 6 inch lift, the factory installed stabilizers were too short.

The factory welded on the mounts and I did not want to cut them off, so I ground off the flares holding the pivot bolts in and just used some bolts to re-install. The mounts were identical fortunately.

That looks good to me ! How is the welding coming? You feeling pretty confident in it?

Careful with the those, I had them on the teardrop and I was always getting pinched by them. :x

I am doing better. Still quite novice..I would not trust my welds for anything really critical like a hitch.. but it is good enough for this type stuff.

It’s been forever since the last time I looked at this forum. Very nice job on the 6x12. My 6X12 has a similar stance with an axle flip and 31” mud tires under it.

Don have you ever ridden the KTM at Highland Park NW of ATL?

Thanks. No I haven't. Been to Durhamtown in Union Point, GA many years ago. That place was awesome then.

Can you share a pic of your tires on the trailer and details. I am looking to get some all terrain type.

Wow! I remembered how to post a picture.
This is a picture from almost nine years ago. Still running the same 245/75 16 Goodyear MT/Rs. They came off the ‘06 Jeep I had. They are starting to show their age and will need replacement soon.

My son and I have been riding Durhamtown for the last couple years. Bought him a basket case CRF-150F project two years ago and we did a complete rebuild. I bought a 2020 300 XC-W to ride with him. Last February I got him a 2021 350 XC-F and he is loving it.

We have only been to Highland park twice so far, and we have a trip scheduled on January 15th if you want to come ride with a few old guys in their late 40s. We will be staying overnight in the CTC and riding some the following day as well.

Still using my 6x12 I built 10 years ago. Fairly certain I will be starting a gooseneck CTC soon to have more room for extra bikes and beds.
