I have to get all the hangers in place and ensure everything is tight and the muffler weep hole is the low point, but this is essentially how it appears underneath the CTC with the intake and exhaust.

Thanks. It seems to be sealed well and it has the screen and etc. along with the shutoff. I needed the larger inside diameter of the nipple also.

I think it is going to work fine. These are sold as replacements for small gas engine tanks which are generally plastic. This must be how they are fitted.

Have the box screwed down a sealed. Installed latches to hold lid tight against seal. Trying to ensure there will be no Carbon Monoxide (C0 ) seeping back in.

I did buy a Kidde C0 sensor/alarm to mount on wall right above where my head will be when I sleep. I am always a bit cautious about going to sleep in a small area with a combustion furnace. Should not be an issue, but we'll see.

No, trying to keep fuel pump and etc. out of the way. I did not see any good way to mount fuel pump and etc. at the required 30 degree angle without it all being exposed below. My frame is 3 inches and I have 2 inches of foam. It would have not been ideal.

I have all the exhaust and etc. secured. Now I just have to clean up the wiring and mount the controller.

Well, the diesel heater is installed. I installed the controller right over the back of the couch/bed. The internal thermistor for cabin temp is inside the controller, so I wanted it where I will sit. Since the display is in Celsius only, I made a little conversion table card from 45F to 75F so I can set the heater accordingly. It just slides in behind the display on the wall.

I learned how to program it and I optimized the burn for 2kw. It seems to cycle fine. Looking forward to testing it out in some cold weather. The camper is more for 4 seasons now.

I also installed the rails and cut the board for the bed extension. I have a pillow to throw on that and now my feet won't hang off..Also used as an end table. Heater is underneath. The board just slides off and stows next to the heater if I want to take it off.

I think you'd like it and you're running diesel anyhow, so you'd just have a spare can on board that you could use for heat or in a pinch if you run out of fuel in your truck.

Iv actually been running the heater in the new fifthwheel all month lol I don’t have a logical reason why but…. I’d end up running the diesel heater also to keep the toys warm in the snow
