Why does every side project I do take 10x as long

I am hoping to do a picture update on my build thread this week but I do have the sides and rear reskinned and I am putting a pop up camper style hatch on the rear for the bed which is finally all cut and half of it is tack welded.
In February I had my third surgery in 1 1/2 years from a torn bicep tendon and recovery is taking way longer than I had hoped. Going to go ice my arm and hope it will let me do more welding tomorrow lol.
Btw anyone got a lead on a 2x4 ft cargo door for cheap? Found one on eBay for 99 plus 39 shipping. Unfortunately the local rv bone yards have been picked clean.
