Structural welding is done
Posted: Tue Jun 28, 2022 6:31 pmMy conversion is on a 38 year old trailer so I had to replace some of the frame. I also welded in the support for the 2ft by 4 ft windows on each side.
The last bit of welding was a 3ft by 5 ft hatch that will fold down to allow a mattress to slide out (removed rear door and totally framing in the rear)
Well just ran the last structural weld on the hatch. Next step will be to grind and flapper disk everything smooth then do some fill welds in the cracks, smooth then flush then Bondo the frame for a clean finish look. It's alot of work but I think the end product will be something real impressive
