NEVER THROW THE BOX OUT

If you are doing a "traditional" CTC I have no doubt it can be fun and rewarding. If however you go beyond thinking outside the box and just throw the box out the window get ready to stop talking about projected time-frames lol.
As the sun disappeared tonight I put the last layers of Bondo on my rear bed hatch. 2 months ago it was 8 pieces of 1 inch angle and a 6 ft piano hinge. It now looks like 1 piece of metal!
Next step tomorrow is to do final Bondo sand (fingers crossed it all smooths out) then prime the face. Flip it over and final sand and prime and paint the back side. Then prime and paint the frp/plywood insert, let dry for 2 days then install. With a little luck I won't have to do much Bondo touch up after I run the screws in the frp/ply. Mask the frp then final prime and paint the frame
What I knew was going to take 3 weeks may be done by Christmas lol
