South of France 2008

Well, hi all. I have not posted much on here for some time but I had to share this trip with ya.

Sat 30th August drive to Dover for the ferry to Calais, Then drive to Troyes and stay in a Etap Hotel for the night.
Sun 31st drive to a lovely campsite in the alps near Gap
Tues 2nd Pack up and drive to Nice, Hot,Hot,Hot!
Wed 3rd, Thurs 4th Visit local areas Nice, Cannes etc
Fri 5th Drive to the Millau Bridge, what a sight.
Sat 6th Monaco for the day
Sun 7th Day of rest by the pool
Mon 8th more local areas to visit
Tues 9th Pack up and drive to 50 miles north of Lyon ( Mega Campsite and the cheepest of the whole holiday. On a lake with our own beach which we had dinner on! Wanna go back there)
Wed 10th Relax for the day
Thurs 11th Lyon for the day
Fri 12th Pack up and rapid drive back for a 20.00 ferry from Calais (467miles)
Back home to my fiances parents 00.15 sat morning!

2800miles in 13 days, brilliant but not long enough.

Neal,
My motor is a "Smart Roadster Coupe" They where only sold in europe between 2003-2005. Does very well at towing my TD considering its only 698cc! 0-60 approx 9 sec and I have had it up to 128mph but not with the TD on the back.
