I was thinkin' the same thing, but thought it was a Hustler antenna.

I use a basic Hustler mobile setup now. I have a short piece of rebar to drive into the ground then unroll radials and quick connect the mast and stinger. I don't really want to permanently mount an antenna to the TD.
Holy cow, Rose is a teenager now! Done? Surely you jest. A teardrop is never "done".

Thanks for the pics - they're terrific!

On a cross-country a few years ago I stumbled upon Colorado National Monument while looking for a place to walk my dog. What a delightful surprise that mini-Grand Canyon is! Fun drive in a Miata, too.

WarPony, I scanned all you pics and really like the TTT depicted in your post.

That might be a foundation for my build.

No galley but the layout looks good.

I'm thinking I might first try a 4x8 to see how the layout works.

I could see a future 5x8....

If you see it in person it is even better. Really nice layout and design.

Jeff it looks like you had a very enjoyable trip even with the chilly weather.

Your photos make me want to head that way even with the extra travel distance.

Thanks for the look.

Jeff, I have a 4x8 utility trailer already and am thinking that since your layout uses a rear door I might be able to construct a "box" (on skids maybe) that I could place atop/within the rails of the 4x8 trailer.

Did you construct yours from any plans and, if so, can you point me to them. Thanks, Tom

I used the profile of the Rimple that's in the Design Library tab at the top of the page. That's the about the only thing I used from the plans, the rest I winged it.
