Lil Caj-Inn goes to Kentucky

So we are off our trip to Ky. We will be starting our trip tomorrow. The first day of the trip we will be driving 359 miles stopping in George Payne Cossar State Park for the night.. Then the 2nd day we will be driving 438 miles to Vastwood Park In Hawesville Ky. We will be staying there until the 2nd. Then we will be Driving 532 miles over to Lake Catherine State Park in Hot Springs, AR staying there for 2 days. Then we should be coming home the last 377 miles of the trip on the 4th.
We hope to get to see some fall colors and some of Anna's family members on this trip.. We will post up some pictures of our little journey when we get home.. The Total miles of the trip is going to be 1706 miles

If you have some need to see spots or nice places to eat near our route please don't be shy to suggest something..

Sounds like a great trip.

I actually know people in Hawesville, Kentucky.

Don't think I've ever before seen the town's name in print.

I'm jelious, doesn't the Nachaz trace run up thru that country. I bet that would be a neat trip also. Have fun and don't forget the pics.. Jim ;)

When you come up I-65 from Nashville you will pass our exit, 117, just 3 miles from Portland, TN. The Corvette museum is in Bowling Green, KY.
Don't forget to fill up at the Flying J at Exit 2 in Franklin, Ky. I retired as C-Store manager from there nearly 2 years ago.
Living today and planning for tomorrow.

Made it home

So we made it home today.. I'm sad the trip is over :( it was So much fun. Anna took close to 500 pictures. I will sift through them soon and post some up on Photobucket.. The fall colors were AWESOME and the weather could not have been better the whole trip. Here are a few pics to give you an idea just how nice the trip really was.
