The two member Juneau contingent went to Auke Bay this weekend for opening of the local campgrounds. We're having record warm weather today and every space was taken!!! Daughter No. 2 is in the camper tonight... I have to clean up around the house cause Marcia's fluying in tonight from her visit

Everytime I see a picture of your teardrop, I love it more. It is beatiful! And your state is too! We spent 2 weeks in Alaska 2 years ago, and I've been wanting to go back since the day we arrived back in Oklahoma City.

Now you be careful putting that TD near rocks. Can't have scratches ya know. Even more beautiful in the wild Dave!

Wow Dave, the Slumber Max looks gorgeous in it's natural environment

What have you got now...Three weeks until the mosquitoes drive you back indoors

This weekend, we're at Mendenhall Campground (the green tent)...about 1000' from my house (9164 Wolfram Way)....

Image

Living by a glacier is like having a huge ice cube in your back yard. This is Mendenhall Glacier this morning from the campsite...

Image

Danny the Wicked Spaniel on his usual dip...the glacial fed streams are always murky from the glacial silt...

Image

and the SlumberMAX is shielded from the drizzle by the new EZ-Up...
