It's Elementary

Finished the Teardrop then drove round trip to Harpers Ferry WV and back to TX for an Element Owners Meet.

The TD pulled great, no problems through the mountains of WV and KY.
Drove 3,500 miles, lost count of the tours, we got waves and thumbs up and our picture taken from other travelers, truckers talked about us over the CB, people followed us into rest areas for info and tours. It really was unbelievable.

Heres some TD's and tiny campers from the E-meet

On the way up, we drove through, LA, MS, AL, TN, and drove through VA just hitting the northern edge of WV to get to Harpers Ferry, with a quick trip into Washington DC.
(5) campgrounds

On the way home, we drove down a ways through VA, but then cut over on 64 to go through Charleston into KY, then TN, AR and TX
(3) campgrounds.

We stopped and saw as many historical sites as we could, loved seeing the country, especially, WV & KY.

I'll put up some pics of the trip here tonight.

Thats 3,500 miles, 2 weeks, and 8 campgrounds and 10 states:)

:applause: I love Charleston but hate that bridge. Well truthfully I don't like bridges but Charleston has a fantastic capital dome. I have wanted to photograph it but can never get in a position to do so safely. :( Next trip I plan a different path.
