Two great weeks in Missouri

Postby BrwBier » Sun Sep 25, 2011 10:47 am

We got home Friday from two great weeks circling Missouri. First night was at Mark Twain State Park.

Then on to Knob Noster where we almost had the park to our selves for 2 days

We went there to do some biking on the Katy Trail and to visit Powell Gardens again, what a beautiful place.

Then on to Branson for the next 6 nights. We just love all the shows.

Then its off to Lake of the Ozarks for 3 nights. Which is the reason we now camp again, but thats a long story. Ask me over a few beers and I will tell you the whole story.

Time to start for home. One of our favorite things about Missouri, the wine.

Our last stop on the way home. The Hennepin Canel and another bike trail.

Thanks for sharing the pics. Until a couple of years ago, I had no idea how beautiful Missouri was. My wife and I had a medical appointment in Columbia and on the return trip we shot down throught the MTNF. Some absolutely stunning country down through there. Hope to get to spend more time out there one day.

Thanks for sharing. Looks like you had a great tour of Missouri. I'd buy you a beer to hear the rest of the story

Thanks for the pics looks like you had a great trip. If we'd know when you were in Knob Noster you might have had some company.

That would be alright, except untill we get some where we don't know where we will be. It is always up to whats happening at the time, you know, how much fun were having and the weather.

Now that looks like a good time. My grandparents live in Milwaukee and I wanted to take mine to see them, but a plane ticket was only $100. A Texas boy in a tear in Milwaukee at Thanksgiving may not be such a good idea though.
