We had been cruising along about 55 - 60 when we came upon a motor home doing about 50 well as we went around him we were all doing about 70 when we came upon a dip running diagonally accross the roadway, Eddie may have gotten around early enough to avoid the dip at speed, but I know Gage got air borne and he is running shocks not springs, even Johns beast, had both wheels a good 6 inch's clear of the road. :o

Here I thought it was before we got to Ludlow, not to far out of Newberry Springs because weren't we talking about it at Ludlow. And yep, I'm ready to do it again (completely). Maybe when it is a little warmer and go on up to Williams and then down to Cottonwood for the gathering down there. And during that time period we can go on up into Jerome one day. Another very interesting old mining ghost town (but more commercialized).

Heck I could be off by whole day with my memory, but I thougt it was in Amboy across from Roy's we first talked about getting the tears airborne, either way I don't think we ever ment for them to fly....

Going on up to Williams sounds like a great idea

Thanks, Cliff, for the huge collection of pics. The sharpness of many is remarkable. Nicely done.

Hope I will be ready when the next caravan heads down that fabled road.

Thanks everyone.

Gina and I both like to take pictures. The photos came from two different cameras, which is why about 1/2 way through we are in Calico again. :D

We both use both cameras, and long ago gave up trying to figure out who took which pictures. Except the shots through the window. Those are hers. I won't take photos through the windows, because the reflections drive me crazy. She's already crazy. (that's a joke...)

"I" had a major problem with one a my bumper brackets..it tore and cracked. Had to schedule time with a welder/fabricater to git it fixed. Would have LOVED to join the group on this trip....

Used to go ATC riding @ Calico...many moons ago...and love the "rustic" atmosphere there.

My non- teardrop friends tell me all the time about how HIGH my TD gets airborne on bad roads...frightening !!

Finally got my bumper bracket FIXED...after doin sum "driveway" campin, I finall went out this weekend. It was @ Lake Perris...rainin on & off.

So...when's the next campin trip ?? I"M READY !!!

I had to google map it...Are you goin to this one Gage ? I had to replace my windshield and my TearJerker sticker went with the OLD windshield so I need another one.

My plans are to MAKE this camp out...jus gotta git my stuff regrouped and repack the trailer.

Is there anything I NEED to do to reserve me a spot ?
