Great weekend at the beach. 82 for the high and 60's at night.
Even caught a red that has to be my personal best. 49.5"

You guys are lucky that you can pull 2 trailers, we can't do that here in Washington.

That's OK with me when the speed limit is posted at 70MPH and no restrictions on trailers.

The speed limit is 80mph on I-10 heading West from San Antonio. 70 is pretty typical. There is a new road that they are putting up from Dallas to San Antonio. I heard that they were talking about having an 85mph speed limit on it.

It pulls great. This was the first trip pulling the second trailer. It pulled at 70-75 mph with no tail wagging. Straight as an arrow.

You guys are lucky that you can pull 2 trailers, we can't do that here in Washington.

It would be nice to pull two at one time. It is only legal in states that allow it. Get caught doing it in states that don't allow it. The fines can be quite large. I have seen it done in Florida, however, they catch you they will fine you. It is illegal to haul two here and they enforce it here big time

It looks neat and all that stuff but personally I think it's an accident waiting to happen. What if someone was cut you off or clipped you anywhere in your train? How do you brake all that in an emergency when you have to swerve to attempt to avoid hitting something? :thinking:

I can see it now the whole freeway blocked with vehicles strewn all over the place. When I see one of those truckers with 3 trailers wiggling down the highway in Oregon I get as far away from it as possible.

In my younger years I drove a 18 wheeler (teamster). Back then I would pull twin 28' trailers all the time. And if making a KC run would pull twin 48's. I did that for 10+ years without an accident. I also used to pull a 18' boat behind a 22' popup camper.
It all comes down to defensive driving instead of offensive driving, and being aware of your surroundings.
Certainly not for everybody. But I am comfortable with it. If I thought it wasn't safe I would not do it. You just have to be aware that you are driving a 50' vehicle.
