When to a new campground this weekend. Hurricane Lake, about 50 miles away. I had a great time, but it was too short.

Here is a slideshow for ya. Enjoy. (Clicky on it)

The best part was having the Camp Host Family serenading the whole campground, very loudly, with some good old Karaoke.
I even took a picture for y'all

I kid you not folks, in the above picture, they were singing "Stand By Your Man" very badly, if I must say so.
:Oh Brother:
Regardless, Dad, Cori (aka Fuzzy Butt) and I had a great Time!:D

I didn't have the heart to tell them " Y'all SUCK!!!" But I wanted to.

Actually, I was pissed at first that someone was playing there music to loud. Then, when I found out what was happening....I cracked up laughing and took a picture y'all.

Thanks Aunti M.

The camping looks great, MaryK!
I think you should've joined your karaoke campground hosts and done a little teardrop dance with them! :dancing Or if they were that bad, you should've brought out your paddle! :DOH2:

Love that picture of your dad from the back walking out on the pier, shot at a tilt. And fuzzy butt is a great looking beast.

Thanks for showing what fun camping can be. All you needed to add was a small boat for the lake. :D

Jeanette, Trust me, they would have rather had a spanking than to watch me dance...it's not pretty.

Tony, I have been trying to convince my Dad to let me build him a weekender camper/TTT, but he insist that he would rather me build a boat. And, after not having a boat to put on the lake this weekend, I'm getting the bug to build me one again.

Carol & Rick, Thank you.

Looks like a fun trip MK. And "FREE" entertainment, too. What kind of luck. Love the pictures, looks like Dad had a good time.

"Stand by your man"..... :M :M  Gosh, that just sticks in your mind.

MK:

What a nice slideshow made perfect with your choice of music. It looked like a tranquil, serene camping trip. How cool that your dad goes with you. I wish my dad were still around to camp with me (died). My mom would go if I would go pick her up in Louisiana...kinda far so I just share my adventures with her via phone and pics.

I really enjoyed your pics and I REALLLY love your
Tear - you did good!
