:applause: :applause: :applause: VERY COOL(literally)...thanks for sharing the pics...I know I appreciate it....back in the mid '60s, the we made a family camping trip to CO..we left Louisiana in July...very hot...we got to Berthoud Pass and we were about to freeze to death...no warm cloths of any kind, so we bought sweatshits and stuff at the lodge and had to endure the "knowing" smiles(and laughter) of the clerks.....

Looks like you had a good time!

About 10 years ago, my hubby had to attend an auction in western Kansas for our business. So the kids and I went with him. Afterwards, he decided to go home by way of Colorado. (Way out of our way home!) We (meaning the kids and I) only had shorts and t-shirts. No jackets or pants. When we left Oklahoma we were at 110 degrees and in the middle of a drought. It rained and was about 45 every day we were gone. We also had to buy some warm duds! Glad to hear it wasn't just me!!

Jealous, jealous. Looked like a great trip. You're lucky that Doritos bag didn't explode and kill everyone in the car!

Awesome pics!
Ditto here, went to Boulder for a softball tourny in July, couldn't figure out why everyone was wearing coats till we rolled our windows down!

We asked where there was a Wal-Mart to go buy some sweats, but they looked at us real crazy and sent us to another town where there was a Target, and luckily they had sweats!

I didn't plan for the snow at all but had one pair of long pants and one long-sleeved shirt in case we ran into some cold nights/mornings. Four years ago, we went to the Black Hills of SD in August and had a 34* morning and I didn't have any warm clothes and froze our asses off!!! Of course, that was pre-T/TTT and we were in a Eureka! tent.

If you are going anywhere near the Rockies in August, pack at least one set of long clothes. As you can see, anything can happen.

No, it is made by Winegard. It has worked pretty good when in range of an analog station. We'll see after February.......... I have a Polaroid DVD/TV combo.

You just figure that it is ALWAYS COLD in Colorado at night, even when you're not in the mountains. I remember several softball tournaments that it would be in the 90's during the day and as soon as the sun went down it was freezing. :snowstorm:

Most of the passes get snow in the summertime. :snow

Nice pictures!!
