Well, after several months of being too busy with work and family obligations, we finally had a couple of days to try out the TD. Only went about 15 miles from the house, but camping is camping. Went to a great little camp ground on the Guadalupe river here in the Texas hill country.
Had a great time, good friends and fantastic food. Didn't get many pics, but here are a few of our set-up.

I would have never gotten this thing built, if it weren't for this forum and it's members. Big thanks to all on the board!!

Woo Hooo!! Awesome!! Gosh, Don't it feel GREAT to finally take the Teardrop camping??
Your Teardrop looks amazing. The doors really caught my eye. They are just cool. I love the arch at the top and the rain drip guard is perfect. Congrats. :applause:

Have fun,

Mk

There is nothing like enjoying the fruits of your labor on that first TD campout, and the pride that you feel when towing it down the road. It is fun seeing the reflection of yor rig off of store front plate glass windows as you drive . It is also fun when people ask " Do you sleep in there?" That is a nice looking TD!

based on previous experience (not mine), but sure the bottom of the sides are sealed well so dripping water does not wick up into the ply from the bottom edge.......

I've seen it on 2 camp inns when they made wood side tears a few years ago.

Other than that, you did a really neat build.
