ROUTE 66 TEAR DROPPING OUT WEST-LOTTA PICTURES
This is my first post but after seeing all the great trip posts and pictures I got excited about showing mine. I was inspired by 48Rob who just posted a great bunch of pictures with some nice comments.
Thanks for the fun shared by all on this forum, I hope I am doing this right.

My baby Cabin Car was inspired by Rob's version of the Cabin Car and his guidance was vital to my being able to build it.
Mine is missing much of his luxuries but still captures the spirit of the
original wooden Cabin Car.

This link is graphic intensive so you need a high speed connection.

Thanks Terry, we are both from California, many many moons ago and it was fun to see a number of sights we are familiar with. Nancy says OK if we are going to do that we need a porta poty

Terry your trip was awesome! Thank you for sharing it with us. I'd love to know all those little spots you camped at in California near the water. We hope to travel Route 66 with our TD someday, too. Thanks for the inspiration.

Nice pics Terry. Thanks for sharings. I agree with you about the ice caves. I found it disapointing as well.

Heck of a start. I loved the goofy stuff like the pictures of Paul Bunyon and Babe. Heck I love dragging my family through that stuff. I look forward to see more of your adventures.

Terry,

Welcome to the forum!

Great set of photos, and a really neat vacation!
Makes me want to do another road trip...
So many cool places to visit, so little time!

Wonder how many people you'll inspire...several, I'll bet!

This one is still my favorite.

Rob

Awesome posting of your trip. Thanks. I love the wooden trailer filling the gap in a tree. Very poetic!

Thanks for taking us along on your journey with the pics. The California coast is my favorite destination as well. As soon as I return home I can't wait to go back. In the meantime, I can live it vicariously through your pics the same as you do with others.

Two of my favorite "bucket list" items - a Cabin Car, and a trip down route 66! Very nice pics!
