Glyphs, Zion and Bryce

Postby nevadatear » Wed Apr 14, 2010 7:17 pm

Randy and I had a wonderful week long trip in our tear. It is the longest we have been out in the tear, and it was great. Our brand new tongue box developed a crack, so we have to fix that, guess I should have used the fiberglass cloth and not just the epoxy. But, it is fixable.

Started out with three days at the Glyphs with a great bunch of folks and scored two great mugs to remember the experience by. They now have a new home in the tear and use them all the time. After leaving Austin area we went to Cathedreal Gorge outside Panaca NV. Highly recommended! The campground was great, well maintained, with warm bathrooms and hot free showers. We would have stayed longer, but it was still very cold and windy. We will be back! Hoodoos and caverns, like a mini zion and bryce.

On to Zion, after a massive rainstorm and wind, it stopped and the sun and warm came out and it was great for the rest of the trip.
Pics from our campground in the Park, on the river, with incredible views.

Wonderful photos. Sorry I missed you at Zion. I just returned from there myself. Will post photos, and link to my video.

Looks like you had a fantastic trip. Thanks for the information on the campgrounds. That is information that is very helpful when we make a trip out west in our new little camper. Take care, Cliff
