Well been thrashing to get it fixed up and we finally have it done enough to take out on our trip!!! Not to far just going 12miles down the road to Ft. Yargo State Park in Winder, GA!! Close enough to home that if we have problems I can go get stuff to fix it or if the wifey doesn't like can take her home,  . I'll have pics here tomorrow of the set up and other pics in my rebuild/finish thread. Well ya'll have a good weekend!!

Cliff,

What kind of EZ-UP do you have? How does the side canopy work? Is it an add on feature of the ez-up or did you have to modify something to work? What is the height from the ground to the canopy?

Sorry for all the rapid fire questions. We are headed to Virgina Beach in August and we are taking my nephews popup (can fit more people). We were looking at ideas for a front room to attach to the side of the popup for extra storage. This looks like it would do the job perfectly if there is room at the top for door clearance and the canopy would fit over the roof of the popup.

Thanks,

Dave

You have a beautiful campground there and it's a bonus that it's so close to your home. Congratulations on getting your teardrop camp-able. The exterior's blue color is pretty. Glad to hear you both like camping in your new build. It looks like you had a successful trip. :applause:

Dave its a Quik Shade summit model but its discontinued. I was lucky and checked 2 Kmarts in the area and found one for clearanced priced $50. The wall is on arms that raise up on slides that are attached at the factory. Original price on it was $199. It has adjustable legs and can go up to 10 ft or more up. That was on the lowest height in the pics.

Thanks Sharon we really enjoyed it. We're taking our second trip this weekend for a 3dayer over in SC on Lake Hartwell!
