It just hit me we have people all over the USA. I'll bet we can come pretty close to providing a photo of the whole thing coast to coast.

So here is the rules:

You took the photo.
In the subject put the name of the city, spot, landmark, etc.
High qualty photos encourged (so if you have a slow connection don't visit this thread)

This could be fun, it might require some of us to get out, camp, and take some photos.

Jim, this is a great idea you have. However, you really need to reduce the size of your photos to a size that will fit on the average monitor screen. something along the lines of 700 pixels or less in width.

Jim, I gotta agree with Kevin...luv da pics but it would sure be appreciated if you could reduce the size...800x600 max and preferably 640x480 is better...especially for those on dial-up(yes we have 'em...thank you in advance for your cooperation.............

Did no one read rule #3?

Now we have a number of posts that ruin the thread. Maybe we can get them deleted. It was suppose to be high quality pictures with places.

It is suppose to be a draw not an un nessary lesson in shrinking photos.

If it is a slow connection don't view the thread.

Jim,
Several of us on the admin staff have requested that you reduce the size of the photos you are posting. This is not an issue that's open for debate. Until you have reduced the size of the images, this thread will remain locked and the image tags removed. When you've done as requested, I'll unlock this thread, replace the tags and remove our posts from the thread. FYI, if you'll look at the thread now you'll notice that the images that have been reduced in size no longer require scrolling horizontally to view the entire picture. This is the issue that I'm trying to correct. When a photo exceeds 840 pixels wide, it causes the text to extend out of view on the screen, requiring scrolling to read it all.
